Power on your desktop, laptop and printer. Now your computer is connected to the printer (assuming you are using Windows XP), click on:
Start -> Printers and Faxes
-> Right click on the printer selection
-> Recommend Ad
-> Now in the box to share printer
-> Enter the stock of your desired name
-> How EL810 Canon ..
---> Now click "OK" and you begin
-> Next to the laptop, and then open the Printers and Faxes
-> Select the network printer
-> In server name in the name of the shared printer and the server name or printer to contribute to their share and has everything to get started.
-> Well, if you are in the laptop and ask for a copy of everything you need to apply a pressure and select the shared network printer.

Think shouldv'e solve the problem.

basically what you are looking gentleman is a print server via the network. You can show the fields that are sitting on a LAN or WAN, the teams that there is a network printer on the network. Therefore, it should be easy to configure and run. I recommend look at newegg.com or Tiger Direct .. these products last check i, whether or not they werent expensive.

From the desktop to the Control Panel> Printers, right-click it and select Sharing. Give the printer a name to identify it. Click OK. Then go to the laptop, Control Panel> Add Printer> Printer, select a network printer and access to your corporate network and printer are connected.
